Here at First Baptist, our Children's Ministry is "First Kids!" The children attend Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays, and during worship, Ms. Jamie has a Children's Message, then the kids are dismissed to Children's Church. On the 4th Sunday of the month, children remain in the Sanctuary for "Parenting in the Pew", you can learn more about this program by reading the book "Parenting in the Pew: Guiding Your Children into the Joy of Worship", by Robbie Castleman. First Kids meet on Sunday evenings from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Pick up and Drop off is at the Portico entrance.

NOW YOU SEE ME: A 4-Week Series from the Old Testament on Daniel
SERIES OVERVIEW: Magic tricks and illusions have a way of sparking wonder and curiosity. But long before today’s magicians, Daniel and his friends stood out during the Babylonian exile. They were wiser than the magicians and astrologers of their time because they looked to God for wisdom. Through their brave actions and wise choices, they showed God’s power to everyone around them—no tricks needed! In this 4-week series, kids will learn that God helps us choose wisely, God is ready to rescue us, God’s words show us what to do, and our courage can help others see God.
I want to thank all of our volunteers who serve in the nursery. Every spot has been filled in October. You are each amazing and appreciated! Again, thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus, displaying Christ's love to our little humans!
First Baptist Youth
Reverend Patricia Turner
Associate Pastor
The new church year's start for the youth has been amazing. Remember that you as a church family are a vital part of the lives of our youth. Sports schedules are on the hallway bulletin board. If you are able please go and encourage them. Also as you are able introduce yourself to the youth and each week ask them a question to get to know them better. Our youth need all the encouragement they can receive at this time in their lives.
14 youth and four adults will be traveling to Caswell for the CBFNC Youth Beach Retreat. Please pray for this experience as they worship, study God's word and fellowship together with other youth from NC. These retreats are so important in the lives of our youth so thank you church family for providing these opportunities.
As always please continue to remember our youth in prayer daily.
I appreciate you church family,
Patricia
