Mark Your Calendar and Make Plans to Attend The Count Your Blessings Service Thanksgiving Eve (Wednesday, November 27) at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary If you have never attended this service, it is an intimate gathering that centers around the serving of Communion and the opportunity for everyone who so desires to share with the congregation the things for which he or she is thankful. Speaking is voluntary, and whether you choose to speak your blessings aloud or simply to name them in your own heart, it is a wonderful way to prepare our hearts for the celebration of Thanksgiving. We will also share a Fellowship Meal of Homemade Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches in the Wayland Hall at 5:30pm. There is no charge for the meal, but we will accept donations. Please make reservations by Monday, November 24 for the meal.

Little Free Pantry
Our Deacons In-House Missions Team has created a sign up link so that we can keep our Little Free Pantry stocked each week. It is clear that this important ministry is being utilized by the community, and we want to be sure there is food available if someone should have a need. You may sign up using this link. Thank you, church family, for your care and compassion. There is a link at the top of this page, or click here: https://volunteersignup.org/XK7JT

CAMP BELIEVE IT: A 4-Week Series from the Gospels on Jesus' Early Life
SERIES OVERVIEW: People love camping, and for good reason! You can take in nature, practice special skills, or just take time to relax in a new environment. And when it comes to camping, no one loved it as much as John the Baptist. In this 4-week series, kids will hear about John the Baptist's special role in preparing the way for Jesus and his ministry. John's story will help kids to say their camp motto, "I believe God gives me purpose. I believe God can speak to me. I believe God is powerful. I believe God's words are true."
Our Memory Verse for January is John 6:69 "We have come to believe and to know that you are the only Holy One of God."
Please note that there are time changes for First Kids and Youth for both Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons.
Wednesday activities: 6-7pm & Sunday Afternoon activities: 3-5pm
On Sunday, January 26, Children will remain in the sanctuary following the Children's Message, for "Parenting in the Pew." Want to learn more? Mrs. Jamie encourages you to explore the book Parenting in the Pew: Guiding Your Children into the Joy of Worship, by Robbie Castleman.
If you would like to serve in the Nursery, please click the "Nursery Volunteer Sign-Up" button on the FBC website. We have several spots that need to be filled in January and February.
If you are a first-time volunteer, a background check will be sent to you via secure email when you sign up. Thank you!
