Here at First Baptist, our Children's Ministry is "First Kids!" The children attend Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays, and during worship, Ms. Jamie has a Children's Message, then the kids are dismissed to Children's Church. On the 4th Sunday of the month, children remain in the Sanctuary for "Parenting in the Pew", you can learn more about this program by reading the book "Parenting in the Pew: Guiding Your Children into the Joy of Worship", by Robbie Castleman. First Kids meet on Sunday evenings from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Pick up and Drop off is at the Portico entrance.

Can you remember the last time you got lost in a really good book? The epic quests, daring escapes, and wild adventures make it hard to put down! While our lives might not include mythical creatures or fantastical lands, we’re all part of an incredible adventure—following God and helping others do the same. Each week, kids will explore the amazing and true stories about Jesus that show us what it means to live for God. In this 5-week series, kids will discover the true story of how Jesus is always with us, God helps us be righteous, God hears us when we pray, the Holy Spirit gives us power, and God helps us share the good news.

First Kids Players
We will be meeting on Wednesday, May 13th for our next session. We will continue working on our first production, “Fruits of the Spirit” We are so excited to move forward and begin creating something for everyone to enjoy. This group is for kids (6-11) who enjoy or would like to learn more about all that goes into a theater production! Youth and adults are welcome to join to assist our First Kids. This will be an original production from start to finish including the plot, lines, props, and stage direction. Please contact Jamie if you would like to participate or have any questions! (A background check is necessary if you are a first-time volunteer, and Jamie will send a link to a secure site for you to do this.)
